She has an extensive and prestigious tradition in American sport. She is the just six women to won all five alpine skiing World Cup events. She has won the World Cup 82 times. World-class athlete and one of America's most experienced ski racers, she has decided to retire after the World Championships, which are taking place in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues have led to the Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to choose to quit her job. The four-time overall World Cup champion has announced her retirement on social networks.
