Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She relocated to California when she was five. She was raised mainly living in Orange County. Her breakthrough was in 2015 when she graduated with degrees from University of California San Diego. Pernas has made brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage prior to landing the role in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless she was a regular face on the soap show.
