Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows she saw on the lawn prompted her to develop an approach that in contrast did not portray the selected object onto canvas. More like the image has been transformed to the artist's own image with the canvas taking its interpretation from the artist. This works best for objects that are living as well as items that have a shelf life such as fruits or people. The ephemeral nature of her painterly style is obvious and what remains of Alexa Meade's work is the photograph. Since the painting and photographic techniques are synchronized so tightly and result in the trompe-l'oeil effect where the illusion of three dimensions can only be seen at specific locations, like the eye area or the hair. Meade has integrated her models painted by Meade into the 3D space that surrounds the models. Their interaction and the created environment can be achieved. In this way, she blurs the lines between painting, photography, performance and installation.
